Claudina Zavattiero is a Population and Development Specialist at UNFPA Paraguay. She holds a Ph.D. in demography, a master’s degree in demography, population and development and a bachelor’s degree in statistical mathematics. She has professional experience in socio-demographic research with many publications on social protection, poverty, health, adolescence and youth, aging, gender, indigenous peoples, employment, migration, among others. Additionally, she is a member of the national team in charge of the studies on National Transfer Accounts (NTA) and National Time Transfer Accounts (NTTA).

Flavio Escobar Farías is an economist from the National University of Asunción - UNA Paraguay. He holds a master’s degree in territorial rural development from the UNA and in finance from the University of San Andrés (UDESA) in Argentina. He works as an economist at the Central Bank of Paraguay since 2014, as well as a manager of Economic Statistics and analyst of the National Accounts Department. Additionally, he is the official representative at the Interinstitutional Technical Committee for Poverty Measurement of Paraguay, the Interinstitutional Committee of the Labor Market and the Population Committee. He also is a professor of Public Finance (Economics of the Public Sector) for the Economics Department at the UNA.
