Mauricio Holz

    • Mauricio Holz is an economist with a master's degree in public policy from the University of Chile. He has been working as a researcher for the National Transfer Accounts project for the Chilean case since 2006, producing analyses on the economic magnitude of the economic dependence of children and older adults, and its impact on fiscal spending in the medium and long term. Between 2010 and 2014 he worked on the design, implementation and analysis of results of the Third Measurement of Large Scale Learning Achievement in Latin America (TERCE), led by the regional office of UNESCO. Mauricio Holz currently works at the National Congress of Chile, analyzing the design, implementation and effects of Chilean educational legislation.
