Pablo Comelatto
- Pablo Comelatto is an economist from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a PhD. in demography and a master’s degree in Economics and Demography from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a regular Professor at the Arturo Jauretche National University and the University of Buenos Aires (School of Economics). He has held undergraduate and graduate teaching positions at the National University of Luján (master's degree in social demography) and the Catholic University of Argentina (master's degree in sociology). He has served as a consultant for CELADE-Population Division of ECLAC, World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, among others. His areas of interest include the economic impact of demographic processes, mainly population aging and its impact on intergenerational transfers, the labor market and public finances.
Jorge Paz
- Jorge Paz holds a Ph.D. in economics (2007) and in demography (2018). He is a Senior Researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) and regular tenured professor of Economic Development at the National University of Salta. Additionally, he is a member of the Institute of Labor Studies and Economic Development (IELDE).
Rafael Rofman
- Rafael Rofman is an economist from the University of Buenos Aires. He holds a master’s degree in social demography from the National University of Luján and a Ph.D. in demography from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a World Bank Program Leader in the areas of Education, Health, Social Protection and Employment, covering Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. He previously was Head of Studies of the Superintendence of AFJP in Argentina and responsible for the Analysis and Research Unit and then Vice President of NACION AFJP, as well as Advisor on pension issues to the Minister of Economy and the Secretary of Social Security in Argentina and consultant to international organizations and governments in Latin America, Europe and Asia. He also has taught at the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Buenos Aires, the National University of Córdoba, the National University of Luján, the National Autonomous University of Honduras, the Torcuato di Tella University and New York University.
